The sugar and lemon combined can be used to perform one of the oldest hair removal methods performed in Egypt and other eastern countries many years ago. It is a method similar to wax, with the difference that it is much less painful, cheaper and above all, natural.
Nowadays, some countries sell the pasta preparation already prepared, but it is so simple to make that it is convenient to prepare it each at home.
The ingredients that are needed are: Two cups of sugar, the juice of a lemon and a little water.
Lemon juice is mixed with two cups of sugar and mixed over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. The mixture should reach approximately 115 degrees Celsius, so a kitchen thermometer would help to monitor the temperature. When the mixture begins to boil, you should lower the heat and wait for the pasta to acquire a more pasty consistency, and a golden color similar to that of honey.
Once it cools down a bit, it is applied to the area to be waxed as if it were conventional wax.
